Deirdre Roney is an experienced transactional attorney well-versed in a range of contractual and financial matters, including public contracting, real estate, environmental and construction law. She has represented public and private entities in a variety of public works projects and development projects. She is also experienced in financial law, having worked on several public and private financing issues.
In conjunction with her public works experience, Deirdre has worked with a variety of ancillary agreements, from leasing documents to various stages of construction disputes.
Previously, Deirdre worked in the Construction Group at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, and in the Public Contracting Group in the New York office of Hawkins, Delafield & Wood LLP. In addition to her transaction experience, Ms. Roney was a federal law clerk at the U.S. Court of International Trade, a trial attorney with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission, and Of Counsel with Kaplan, Fox & Kilsheimer LLP focusing on institutional investor relations. Before attending law school, she lived and worked in China for two years.
