CLARE GIBSON has in-depth experience in construction law, public contracts, and general municipal law. She has represented a broad range of local government agencies, including municipalities, counties, school districts, community college districts, county offices of education, and joint power agencies, as well as private clients. Clare advises her clients on all phases of public construction, from contract documents to project close-out and dispute resolution. Clare is a former City Attorney for the City of Larkspur, and former Assistant City Attorney for the City of Petaluma. She currently serves as General Counsel to the Ross Valley Paramedic Authority. Prior to joining the firm Clare was Associate General Counsel at School and College Legal Services of California, where she represented public education agency clients. Prior to that, she practiced municipal law at Meyers Nave in the firm’s Public Law and Public Contracting groups. Clare is a past president and current member of Sonoma County Women In Law, and she is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry. Clare is a graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law.
